Our trip to Truk and Palau was the trip of a life time. The airplane ride at the start of the trip was quite an adventure. Philadelphia Airport is still throwing us a curve ball every time we fly there. With the challenge of Philadelphia Airport behind us the rest of the travel was just long but uneventful.
The Odyssey live aboard was the lap of dive luxury. Help in and out of your gear, hot showers at the dive deck, warm towels waiting for you after the shower, as much diving in a day as your computer will allow. The dive guides took us places in the wrecks that we would never have found on our own.
Palau, what can I say, WOW!! Sharks, Napoleon wrasp, barracuda giant clams, carpet anomies and yes manta rays! The animal life was very diverse and healthy.
