Ron Witte
AKA: "?"
I became a PADI Open Water Diver in May of 1988. WOW—That was a long time ago. After working through the ranks I became a PADI OWSI in July of 1992 and became a MSDT in 1997. I hold Specialty Instructor ratings in Dry Suit Diver, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Equipment Specialist, Night Diver Underwater Navigator, Wreck Diver and Underwater Photographer.
In an earlier life I was a teacher at Newark Valley High School and the owner of Sea Fan Scuba Center which when purchased by Mike became part of Blue Ocean Divers.
I have taught scuba at Binghamton University for many years and have certified over 300 divers from Open Water to Divemaster ratings. One of my greatest pleasures is to have seen several of my students become PADI Instructors.
Another benefit of being a scuba instructor is to lead dive travel throughout the Caribbean. We have done trips to the US Virgin Islands, British Tortola, Grand Turk, Provo, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Dominica, St. Vincent, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas, Belize, Utila, Roatan, Costa Rica, Tobago, Bonaire, Curacao, and the Bahamas. I also lead an annual dive trip to Cape Anne, MA.
